I’m overall happy with this. I wasn’t expecting much because of reviews and the price, but it seems to be pretty great. It probably took about an hour to set up, and I had no real problems with assembly. I know some people said they had problems with the hammer, but I didn’t even need to use it. I just pushed the pieces into each other. Another review said that the poles bent easily, which also wasn’t the case for me. I might just be a weak little girl, but I can’t imagine being able to bend it very easily. One review had me really stressed out because it talked about how the fabric is so thin and how easily it breaks, and I had a stack of books I wanted to put on it. The fabric has two bars that goes underneath it to help support whatever you put on it. I have two cubes filled with books and there’s been no sagging or breaking. A couple complaints I have is that because of the bars under the fabric, it can be hard to balance things on it, so it’s hard to “dress up” and i don’t think it’s very cute to begin with and there are literally no boxes on the market that fit the dimensions of the shelves. I found some that I THINK will look cute inside of it, but 3 of them cost as much as the unit so I’m holding off a little bit.Overall, it’s pretty big, holds a lot and can take some weight. It’s not as attractive as it is on the listing, and there’s not a whole lot you can do about it. But for the price, it’s very functional and really helped me organize our tiny guest room/office/random stuff room. And hopefully I’ll post more pictures when I can get it to look cute.The little hammer that came with it came apart and a couple of the bars were too big to fit in the frameReally easy to put together but unless you're using super glue the damn thing falls apart as soon as you put anything heavier than a stuffed animal.This product is nothing like what you think it will be. It has many parts to put together and the way you have to assemble it is unnecessarily difficult. I actually broke a piece trying to put it together. The wooden hammer you get as a tool is useless (best to use a rubber mallet). However, once you get pass the frustration of putting it together, it is not all that bad. Surprisingly sturdy and great size to store and organize a decent amount of stuff. This product takes patience but once build you'll be pleased.I am pleased with my purchase. However, I must say that this cube storage stand took patience putting together by myself, but I got it. I didn't realize the fabric piece wasn't going to be sturdy or tight enough to hold my products, but I compromised. I bought paint boards that are usually used at Paint & Sip events, from the Dollar Store, and slid it under the cloth material (see pic). Only issue I have is that one of the ends does not seem to want to level out so it's a tad uneven (see pic). It's serving its purpose though and I am, for the most part, pleased.It took a bit to assemble because the poles kept coming back out. Once my husband literally beat it so the poles were in all the way it was very sturdy. It's frustrating to put together. It holds my son's hotwheels sets perfectly though so it will serve its purpose.I received the stand rather quickly. I was basically self explanatory on how it goes together although they did provide instructions. Very time consuming considering how FLIMSY the poles were.I received several BENT poles but I was able to bend them back into place easily. There were 3 missing shelf sleeves but they can always be placed at the bottom as I did.I actually like the stand itself, I just wish it was a bit sturdier.. The company was VERY nice and even offered to send me a NEW stand FREE but instead of a free stand, I just wanted my money back considering the quality.The stand is GREAT for LIGHT use and storing LIGHT things such as toys, folded linen, clothes, small stuffed toys, or shoes.
