I bought these curtains in white for my living room. They do block out quite a bit of light. If you like for cirtins closed during the day they still let enough light on with out being able to see through. The fabric is great. They are a nice thickness with just the right amount of sheerness to themI really enjoy these curtains as they're in a west facing window that gets hot in the afternoon. I love the coloring, the ability to let in some light, and that the room is cooler since I put these up. They came out of the package ready to put up so that was a plus too ?AND they were just the right size for this particular window ? Highly recommend if you want some light in a room that gets hot from the sun.I like these curtains a lot even though they are a little thin. The color is really nice, the fabric is a little on the lightweight side but that is probably what makes them drape so nicely. If you live in a very cold climate I would suggest going with a thicker curtain as I don't really see any thermal insulating properties to this curtain.I love the color, the material and the fact they keep light out.I only gave 1 star for sheerness because they aren't sheer curtains. Only 1 star for wrinkle free because they come folded up in a package do of course they're wrinkled. I need to iron them.I am a little disappointed- these are not true black out shades. There is no Lining on them and they a tiny bit sheer so a little light comes through. Though they did make my sons bedroom much darker than before but they should not be called black out shades. But for the price it works.Loves these curtains. On scale of 0 to 100 would give a 95% for room darkening. They are nice and thick and very soft. I have washed them a couple times and even bought differnet color of same brand and all holding up well. They dont seem to hold rinkles after a wash so thats a plus too. Would definitely buy again.I love this curtain set! I have had it for a year now and it is made of a very nice material and no light gets through. It is also very pleasing to the eyes. I am glad that the top has the metal rings for easy movement.They are thick material but does not help to keep the room temperature, it does get its darker though. I bought this since I get a lot of sun in the mornings and it gets really hot, you need a really thick stick for it to block completely the light, the material still lets some light in but is good enough to sleep after a graveyard shift. Temperature wise it does not help at allAmazing! Great product!These drapes are great- definitely keeping the light and cold out. My husband works nights and he can sleep during the day with no problem....it’s really dark. I bought 2 pair for nice fullness. I haven’t steamed them yet as I was just anxious to get up and the holidays were upon us. However the wrinkles have fallen out by about 90%. I will still steam- nice and heavy yet satiny feel of this fabric. I got them at a sale price which was a bonus ( not huge sale- but nice) I researched black out drapes for at least 3 hours and chose these. I definitely recommend them. I can’t believe how they block out the sound as well- we live on the major street in our city!Ordered the burgundy curtains and they work perfectly. The picture is a little deceptive.. It almost looks as though there is light streaming in but I swear they block all the light (I think my camera just enhances the light). The curtains are made of a rich, thick, and soft material and block light VERY WELL. Little tip.. Order probably 15-20cm bigger than your window size (width) to help block the bleeding light from the sides of the curtains. I'm very sensitive to light when I sleep and now I sleep like a baby. SO HAPPY with the purchase!Not as Dark as they say & i wanted I could not return I lost the package got tosses with out me knowing so hear they sit... If i had the package they would have gone backI'll be honest, they aren't 100% blackout. BUT, they do still darken the room and keep the sun out of our face. My bedroom window is facing right where the sun rises and these curtains do the job! I'll definitely be ordering again for another room in my home.
