I just about sent the package back before I even opened it, because I thought they forgot the shades. The shades arrive flat, and it is really not hard to put them together. They looked a lot better than I imagined they would when I found them. I bought them for my living room, and I really think they would be better bedroom lamps because of the size. The color is not as white as they appear, they are more of a light brown.I love the phone jacks built in, and the dimmer button is also a nice feature. They do not throw a lot of light.I absolutely love these lamps. They were extremely easy to assemble and look so cute in my living room. They even included the two LED bulbs. I was looking for lamps that weren’t too tall (I don’t want the light shining down in my eyes while sitting on the couch) plus I needed them to have a small footprint since I have very narrow end tables. I also like that they are touch contact, but it’s only the little silver circle on the front of the lamp that controls it. I always accidentally turn on touch lamps, but not with these. I am so glad I took a chance on these.I purchased these lamps with little to no expectation since I had recently purchase a set of other lamps., although they were beautiful to look at, they would not work according to the description, very disappointed. then these lamps were delivered exactly on time and they were just perfect in every way as described .They were easy to assemble, it took less than 20mins. the shades were tricky but no problem to speak of. I am so surprise and truly happy with this purchase. I would absolutely purchase again n recommend them to anyone.These lamps are just beautiful. Everything about them was perfect. They were very easy to put together; it took me literally 10 minutes from start to finish! Great quality and value. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Both lamps were packaged so compact that I could not believe that a single lamp could fit in the delivery. To my surprise both lamps were neatly packaged in a single small box. Putting the shades together felt like a fun craft project. This was very economical purchase that even included 2 LED bulbs. My wife and I love these lamps!!
