I will be returning these because the white shade has some strange brown/orange staining on it that does not come off. I even tried a magic eraser and it didn’t budge. Very disappointing because I liked them otherwise but I can’t hang a stained light in my kitchen. UPDATE *** I was able to get a replacement pendant with no stains or scratches. We hung the lights in our kitchen and they have been great. I do love the look.The light is good, small and cute. Metal so no light escapes the shade. Only illuminates straight down.The light is not cheap for the size of it. And or came with a dented spot that is noticeable.Luckily for me I need it for over the sink so I can’t put the damage side towards the wall instead of island, I would’ve to return it.Easy to install and the cover plate covers the electrical boxLike the lights. Took quite a while to figure out how to shorten the cords. Took a little strength and wire cutting skill. Bulb shows a little more than I like. Works well with dimmer. Overall ok once installed for the pricePut these on a dimmer switch for bedside lighting. They look great (love that the shade is made of metal), were easy to install (instructions for shortening the cord should have been included, but was easy enough to figure out). For our use these are perfect, just realize that with the metal shade the light is directed downwards!Nice light. Nothing special. A little cheaply made but bang for your buck is there.Great looking fixture with a wide mouth opening. Only caveat, the depth is shallow which shows the rim of some bulbs.It’s not what we expected.Great, simple and not expensive! Love these so much more than many we saw at kitchen/lighting stores. The light bulb sticks out the bottom just enough to give good light to a wide area. Wood/white is a great combination!
