I was looking for a low bench to put at the foot of my bed. I have 2 teddy bears, from my childhood, and a few dolls, too, that needed a place to sit in my bedroom. I didn’t want to set them on the bed...as I don’t want to have to remove them every night, then put them back each morning. I saw this piece, and knew it would be perfect. I love the “industrial” style...in fact, I purchased 2 end tables & 1 other table for the living room last year, and I think this bench might be from the same company. I’ve had so many compliments on all of these pieces. HOWEVER, don’t be put off if the industrial style isn’t your style. It.goes very well with antiques, farmhouse decor, and would look smashing with Danish, modern, and many other trends. So far, we haven’t had a problem with missing parts (there’s usually more than you’ll need), no scratches or shoddy framework, etc. The shoe rack underneath, and the storage top of my bench wasn’t a priority for me, but I’m happy to have the extra storage they provide. My son assembled all of industrial pieces I’ve purchased through AMAZON, and he didn’t find it a difficult job at all. I’d recommend this storage bench to anyone.. I’m certain that I’ll be ordering more myself.I needed a bench with storage to replace chairs on one side of the table in my RV. This works perfectly in the space I have, gives me extra storage, is sturdy enough for two adults to sit, and looks very nice. Exactly what I was looking for. I assembled it by myself (63 yr old woman) without any problems in approximately 45 minutes.It is sturdy, attractive and multi functional. We are actually using it as a coffee table in a small space. It was difficult to put together and came missing a screw, which required a long trip to a hardware store. We live in a rural area so that was a problem. I would still order this item as it is perfect otherwise.Pretty simple to put together looks niceStorage and a place to put on shoes.I put it together all by myself and it was not too hard. It’s solid and looks great in my dining room. Lots of storage also. I got 3 baskets for bottom shelf. Highly recommended!Bench is pretty sturdy and useful for what it is. Some of the edges are very sharp and have cut memebers of my family at least onceBeautiful. The predrilled holes made assembly so much easier.
